Singer Moses Ssali aka Bebe Cool stormed Katwe Police Station to open up a case against two local music distributors who had sold his recently released Go Mama album without his permission.
Apparently, the singer had earlier sent three people to buy his album from these distributors in order to get proof.
“It took me three years to make this music and alot of money to produce this album, I can’t let them earn from my talent and hardwork,” he explained to onlookers who were pleading for his mercy.
The police arrested the curlprits and confiscated their equipment. Bebe Cool says they should pay for the damages caused.
“These are the same peopIe who diss me that I have no house, let them let me complete my house,” he added.
He says he will arrest whoever he gets selling his music. With the copyright law still not established in the country, Bebe Cool’s actions are not proper. Tell us what you think about this.
