Africell Uganda has increased their daily data bundles by 100%

A changing landscape and entry of new players makes the telecoms business a competitive and complicated one. As the war for who offers the best 4G super fast internet rages, telecoms has resorted to slashing their data bundles and offering more for less or the same price.

Africell has a reputation of offering more of everything to its customers. The surge in its number of subscribers is hence a no brainer. People are increasingly trusting Africell’s services because of the need for more, especially on the Internet scene. Africell’s titanic data offering comes a few days after Airtel and MTN rolled out their new improved offerings. Africell has countered them with full metal gear. 100% more data!

This has given both businesses and consumers an opportunity to benefit from the reduced prices on internet bundles. For Ugx 500, you now get 50 MBs (formerly 25 MBs) and for Ugx 1,000 you now get 120 MBs (formerly 60 MBs).

Africell is surely living up to its “Don’t be cheated” slogan and their internet users are excited.Too much of anything may be bad, but doesn’t apply to bundles getting bigger at reduced prices. At least on the customers point of view. Hopefully these price wars continue so everyone gets more data for less.
