
The iHub in partnership with Hive Colab will conduct an information outreach workshop for Traction Camp Accelerator Program at Hive Colab on 26th of October 2017. A series of information outreach workshops across the region for digital entrepreneurs will be conducted. The main purpose of these workshops is to inform on requirements of the program, introduce the curriculum of the program and some of the key activities.
The workshop will be an eye-opener for all entrepreneurs and especially those planning to participate in the program. Important information and any clarifications about Traction Camp Program will be addressed during the question-answer session at the end of the workshop.
Traction Camp is a regional acceleration program aimed at nurturing startups in East Africa, so as to create globally competitive, growth-oriented, mobile and digital technology businesses. The program is supported by the World Bank Group’s infoDev program and the governments of Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Kenya.

iHub is one of the biggest Innovation hub and hackerspace for the technology community in Kenya, Nairobi that was started in March 2010 by Erik Hersman a blogger, TED fellow, and entrepreneur. The hub is known to be the birthplace of many start-ups and innovations in Kenya.
The Traction Camp program is currently seeking applications for its Second Cohort. The call for applications will be published in the coming days and will stay open until the end of January 2018. The event is slated to take place on October 26th, 2017 at Hive Colab from Time: 4.30 – 7.00 pm. For those interested to attend and be part of Traction Camp can sign up for free here
