Eddy Kenzo Explains Why He Cried On Arrival

Eddy Kenzo broke down in tears yesterday aftyder being welcomed by a very huge crowd of loyal fans to comgratulate him upon winning a BET Award on his arrival at the airport.

The Viewer’s Choice Best International Artist was overwhelmed by the support and the magnitude of people who turned up to receive him upon. He brought home East Africa’s first BET Award and was the first to win in that category.

Eddy Kenzo explained what actually made him cry in a Facebook post earlier today. Read his post below.

“No one should discourage you from pursuing your dreams, hardwork and patience pays, so get on your feet and go for it. I was more than happy seeing my fans excited about the BET award, that made me shed a tear.

These are things we’ve been watching on foreign TV’s but it’s now here. I know the ‘big boys’ are not sleeping, they’ve also been motivated by this and with God, all things are possible. This award is ours forever, thank you for voting and God Bless you all.”
