Golden band singer Catherine Kusasira was released by Entebbe Magistrate court this morning on a non cash bail of Shs 50 million and Shs 500,000 cash.
Catherine presented herself before court and was read charges including failing to pay a songwriter and obtaining money by false pretence.
She was released after presenting the LC1 of Entebbe and Benon Kibuuka, the president of Federation of Uganda Performing artistes as sureties.
Catherine Kusasira was arrested and presented to court but the judge sent her to Kigo prison because it was already late.
