Golden band artist Catherine Kusasira spent yesterday night in Kigo prison after being arrested over embezzling 1 million shillings.
Fellow singer Irene Namubiru gave Kusasira 1 million shillings to pay Lyto Boss who had written for her a song titled ‘Anjagala’.
On receiving the money, Catherine kept it for herself. Lyto Boss and Irene Namubiru have been asking her to pay the money for some time but all in vain.
She was arrested yesterday and presented to Entebbe Court this evening. The Judge postponed the case hearing to tomorrow in the interest of time. That makes it two nights in prison.
