Airtel Uganda Unveils Eddy Kenzo As #ItsNow Campaign Ambassador

Airtel Uganda has unveiled BET Viewer’s Choice Best New International Artist Award winner Eddy Kenzo as their new ambassador for the #ItsNow campaign.
Airtel Uganda Managing Director Tom Gutjahr addressed the press to officially unveil the partnership earlier today.
‘It gives me great pleasure to be here today as we unveil our new brand ambassador for the #ItsNow campaign.’
‘This campaign seeks to nurture and grow talent in Africa through various consumer touch pointsvsuch as education, lifestyle and music. ‘
‘We will do all this while providing customers with access to connectivity and technological solutions that will enable them succeed.’
“Eddy Kenzo is a real life example of someone who has worked his way from the streets to a respectable position not only in the Ugandan music industry, but the entire world. I believe there is no one better suited to be the #ItsNow campaign ambassador in Uganda,” he added.
Eddy Kenzo started his speech by thanking Airtel for all their support and their help in the growth of talent in Uganda.
“We are happy to have won this award, the first of its kind. We won this together Uganda.’
‘The #ItsNow campaign is going to help me achieve my dream of reaching everyone with my music.’
‘We are going to push for talent, starting with football and the Uganda Cranes’
‘Everyone can change their life, because #ItsNow our time as Uganda ’
Finally Eddy Kenzo thanked Uganda and Airtel for all the support given to him.
The Airtel MD posed with Eddy Kenzo’s BET Award and later journalists were also given a chance to touch the prized accolade.
