Remember those nasty comments that A$AP Rocky fired at Rita Ora on his single “Better Things?” Well, don’t expect the rapper to change his tune anytime soon. During a stop on Hot 97’s Ebro in the Morning , Rocky dished a whole lot of additional shade, sprinkled with a light dusting of sympathy.
“You gotta realize that I say what I want,” he said in the interview. “I’m expressing a situation that happened. I feel bad that people are still talking about that. I didn’t think that people would like that, honestly… That’s a really old song. I was in a relationship when I made that song, so I’m referring to trouble that that girl caused me. I’m being precise when I say she talks a lot.”
That was an apology, right? Sort of?
To refresh your memories, in “Better Things,” the Harlem MC graphically detailed a particular sexual escapade he had with the “R.I.P.” songstress.
Brace yourself: “I swear that b*tch Rita Ora got a big mouth / Next time I see her might curse that b*tch out / Kicked the b*tch out once cause she b*tched out / Spit my kids out, jizzed up all in her mouth and made the b*tch bounce.”
Well, yep. Here’s to moving on in the name of music, right?
