Infinix Celebrates its 1st Anniversary in Uganda

Transsion Holdings brand Infinix officially unveiled their newest flagship to the Infinix Zero series; the Infinix Zero 5 and Zero 5 Pro in November at an event that was held in Dubai. While many were expecting the country launch a week after the global launch, it never happened reasons know to only the firm.

However, the firm today held a re-launch of the phablets as they also celebrated their first anniversary in Uganda. Its customers in the presence of various media houses were invited to share their experience with the various Infininx smartphones. In the audience was one, Ritah Asekenye; a 3rd year student pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree of Industrial Art at Makerere University, and also a brand ambassador of Infinix Uganda – who shared her review with using the Infinix Note 4 Pro. She emphasized that the phablet would be really help to artists and graphic design enthusiast – where she was later able to share a demo of how she came up with her own designs that she has now made available for print.

For those unaware about the Infinix Note 4 Pro complements the Note 4. The device is part of Infinix’s marketing strategy in meeting the phone requirements of different demographics in the smartphone market. The Note 4 Pro brings a stylus along that has been creatively dubbed as XPen – similar to what we might have seen with the Samsung Galaxy Note series phablets.

Recap about its specs, it has a HD IPS Touchscreen display, Octa-core CPU, MediaTek MT6753 Chipset processor coupled with 3GB of RAM, 32B on internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB of microSD card slot, 13MP rear camera & Dual LED Flash, 8MP front facing camera, an XOS Based on Android 7.0 Nougat mobile operating system, backed on non-removable 4500mAh battery.

katongole Derrick; Sales Supervisor at Infinix Uganda, and Ssemuyaba Solomon during the event highlighted the journey of the Infinix brand in the Ugandan market. Derrick was able to point out stats while Solomon was able to give a brief review of the Infinix Zero 5. He however, also answered the question that was paused, What the firm could do to those in the rural areas that would love to own some of the Infinix branded phones? In his response, he empathized that it would be best if the owned, Infinix branded phones such as the Infinix Smart – because it can be more affordable if it were based on the financial standings.

Kyofuna Cynthia; the PR and Communication Manager at Infinix Uganda, gave the final remarks calling upon support of creating more awareness of the brand.
