Wema Sepetu found guilty of drug use and possession

Diamond Platinumz ex-girlfriend Wema Sepetu has been found guilty of drug possession by the Kisutu Resident Magistrates court in Dar es Salaam
The former Miss Tanzania beauty queen was on Friday July 20, sentenced to one year in jail or pay a fine of TShs.2M after having been found guilty of the two crimes.
However, the court set free her employees Angelina Msigwa and Matrida Abas, who were found innocent.
Wema Sepetu was arrested in 2017 following a crackdown by the Tanzanian government on celebrities abusing drugs. The crackdown also led to the arrest of singers like Diamond Platinumz, Vanessa Mdee, TID, among others.
