Renowned musician cum Member of Parliament for Kyadondo East, Robert Kyagulanyi, has turned up at the Central Police station (CPS) to answer allegations of holding an unlawful demonstration, confiscating police handcuffs and assaulting a police officer.
Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine who was in the company of fellow opposition MPs including the Leader of Opposition, Winfred Kiiza, Kampala Central MP, Mohammed Nsereko, Francis Zaake, among others had come answer police summons issued for him on Monday, July 16.
Last week, the indefatigable MP led a demonstration against Social Media and Mobile Money tax but escaped arrest by a whisker unlike his brother, Fred Nyanzi, and bodyguard, Eddie Mutwe.
The duo have been remanded to Luzira prison on similar charges.
