Bobi Wine spearheads demonstration against social media tax

Musician and Parliamentarian Bobi Wine is spearheading a demonstration dubbed “This tax must go” against the social media and mobile money taxes.
The “Bikwase Kyagulanyi” singer has taken to the streets on Wednesday morning July 11, lead the peaceful demonstration, against the recently imposed controversial taxes.
Bobi Wine who is also the MP for Kyadondo earlier took to social media to call on the public to join the march to Constitutional Square in their red outfits.
The singer has been very vocal against the taxes saying they infringe on Ugandans freedom of speech and expression.
