Michael Jackson’s dad has passed away. Joe Jackson died early Wednesday morning at 89, after he had been hospitalized in June with terminal cancer according to TMZ.
He raised ten children, mastering the careers of the Jackson 5, Michael Jackson, and daughter Janet.
At the high of the Jackson’s family success, there was much talk of Joe Jackson being an abusive father who did not allow his children to call him dad.
