Yesterday, the Bryan White foundation visited Bettina Tumuhaise’s farm in Luwero district not only to encourage her works but also to inspect on the other Farmers that have through very hard conditions stuck to agriculture. Approximately 300 farmers in Kalagala were inspected and works approved for to get the boost as earlier in promised by the foundation CEO Bryan White.

Kanoni has farmers that are active in the agriculturao sector and do activities ranging from piggery, tree planting, coffee harverting, bee keeping, floriculture amongst others.

Bettinah is said to have started with only 2 pigs and very limited capital. Recently she submitted her proposal to have her projects funded by the Bryan White foundation that immesiately responded to her please thereby giving her a 17M Ugx boost and also bought her material and seedlings to use and supply to her farmers in the subcounty.

Bettina’s farm sits on about 6 acres in Ndeeba, Kanoni, Kalagala sub county in Luwero district. The Bryan White foundation is solely aimed at supporting the youth through agriculture, improving health, providing education and many more ways hence the slogan “Awakening The Youth From Poverty.”
