NBS TV’s Muyanga Lutaaya who was jailed for paying 51 Million shillings has been released.
The TV show presenter who hosts the popular ‘One on One with Tamale Mirundi’ TV Show had been arrested and remanded in Jinja after he lost a petition challenging elections results where he lost Bulamoji MP seat to NRM’s Kenneth Lubogo in the 2016 election.
The amount which was originally 153 million shillings was reduced to 51 million. After a fundraising, he managed to raise 37 million and now he will have to pay the rest in a period of 6 months from now.
We are glad the celebrity TV presenter is out.
