Evoke Night is back with yet another thrilling edition scheduled for 31st May 2018 at The Square, Industrial area. Dubbed “Lights, Camera, Evoke!”, this edition will pay homage to the film industry. It will feature performances of the world’s biggest and most popular soundtracks from fan-favorite movies and series. These performances will be executed through Evoke’s entertainment avenues; Acapella, Dance, Live band, Spoken word and DJ sessions. In true recognition of the industry, there will be a screening of one of Uganda’s most riveting short films, ever.

Evoke Night is a monthly event series of night entertainment where they fuse Rap, Acapella, Spoken Word, Fashion, Live band and dance. The event aims to inspire Uganda’s Urban and semi-urban youth to be productive towards the country’s political, economic and social aspects through its informative and engaging activities.

“Evoke Night grows with every edition, reaching a bigger youthful crowd and coming up with better ideas to keep this crowd entertained and informed. The film industry is undoubtedly one of, if not the biggest entertainment industry in the world, and it immensely impacts the livelihoods of the youth world over. So having an edition to recognize this industry is much deserved,” relayed Timothy Bukenya, Head Cheese, Evoke.

Last month, the “Tech Me Away” edition was an extravaganza filled with exhilarating performances and a cashless transaction experience. This edition was solely based on technology and so the revelers were treated to silent disco, acapella, tech dance, spoken word and multiple other activities.

Tickets will go for Ugx 20,000.
