Local singer Chris Evans Kaweesi has decided to write his will following a recent life threatening incident.

The singer who was waylaid by robbers that hit him with a hammer on the head leaving him for dead told us that the time has come for him to write a will.

Speaking about the unfortunate incident, the singer told us that his granny had always told him to write a will but he always brushed it off as old people talk not knowing that life can evaporate in a second.

He told us that he was planning on writing a will so that should anything ever happen to him, those he leaves behind will not have to fight for anything.

I am going to write my will. My granny has always told me to write a will but I have always ignored her. On that day I realized how important it is to write a will.  You can die anytime and life is very short,’ he said.

On the fateful day, Chris who is nursing wounds that were inflicted on him by robbers was heading from Nansana to his home at around 1am only to be waylaid, beaten and his car stolen. Although the car was recovered by Police later on that day, the singer was shaken to the extent that he is selling it off because he doesn’t feel secure at all in it.

Chris Evans is known for his songs Mulungi, Rihanna, Ndikuwaki and Nebelera eno.
