Musician Angella Katatumba who was assaulted at Chicken tonight before her money amounting to 6.2 million shillings was stolen from her bag is flabbergasted with a court decision to release Chicken tonight workers.

The workers, Rogers Choka the manager, John Kaddu the waiter and Denis Okirot the guard that night who are accused of assaulting and stealing from Angella, have been released on a cash bail of 500,000shs each by Makindye court.

Speaking about the decision, Angella Katatumba said she was not happy and promised to fight till the end.

‘I cant believe it. I am going to start a campaign and make sure I see this case to the end,’ she said.

On the fateful night, Angella Katatumba who was from studio with a Jamaican artiste Kuzi Kz went to the restaunt in Kansanga to have a bite late in the night. They made their orders and before long, they got involved in a fight with staff leaving Angella badly beaten and her money missing.
