Geosteady Set for first Unplugged Sn 2 Session of 2018

2017 was a great year for Geosteady. His fully-packed Imperial Royale show as well as his recently concluded Dine with Geosteady show at Protea Hotel graduated him into the league of Uganda’s musical bigwigs.

From the look of things, his 2018 is starting on the same high note. We have learnt that the “Owoma” star will grace the first Unplugged Sn 2 show of 2018 at Liquid Silk Nalya on Wednesday 3rd January 2018.

Born Geoffrey Kigozi, Geosteady, started off his musical career as Eddy Kenzo’s song writers and back up artist. Since launching his solo career, his soothing voice and Afro-beat genre, have endeared him to many Ugandans — both young and old audiences.

With hits like “Same Way” featuring Lydia Jasmine, “Tokendeza” and “Owoma” with Rwandese female duo Chali and Nina, Geosteady has definitely been a darling of the media in 2016 and 2017.

His selection as the first artists to be unplugged in 2018 therefore comes as no surprise at all to us. This has been a long time coming.
