18-year-old Desire Djaba is seriously stunning. In fact, this black goddess who is based in Atlanta is now being dubbed ‘African Barbie’ by various publications.

Despite having extremely dark skin, Desiree prefers rocking coloured hair, preferably, blonde. Forget all the naysayers who claim that blonde-hair is only suitable for light-skinned women. I bet they have never seen Desiree.

In an interview with BET style, Desiree said that, like herself, many other women with darker skin tones have struggled with embracing the bold look. However, they ought to follow her example and realize that, yes, it’s okay to seriously stand out in the crowd.
