As the age limit consultations of the legal and parliamentary affairs committee goes in its final remarks, News reaching our desk reveals that President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has invited the team a head of the final report.
A special meeting that is slated to take place this afternoon at State House Entebbe will discuss the Head of State’s take on the controversial amendment.
According to Hon. Jacob Oboth Oboth, says all committee member are ready to exchange idea ahead of the scripting of the final report.
The legal and parliamentary affairs committee has held a number of consulting as a move of reviewing the controversial age limit bill that was tabled by Igara West Member of Parliament Hon. Raphael Magezi.
Ruling party, Opposition, Clergy and other several Civil society organization are some of the teams that have appeared before the parliament committee to discuss different ideas on the Magezi bill.
