Guns, urine in plastic bottles reportedly found in Parliament Catholic chapel after report of alleged soldiers brings chaos

Chaos has erupted in Parliament after Amuru District Woman MP Lucy Akello (FDC) told parliament that she found soldiers occupying both Catholic Chaplain. According to FDC’s Aswa county MP Reagan Okumu,Hon. Lucy Akello, who is the Chairperson of Catholic Community at Parliament had gone to check on the sanitary conditions of the chapel ahead of a visit by Archibishop Cyrian Lwanga tomorrow.

To her shock, she reportedly found soldiers eating. They were reportedly plastic bottles containing urine in the church. She allegedly tried to call for press but was scared away by the security operatives before she ran off to the Speaker. The soldiers were reportedly led to the National Theatre.

Chaos erupted and the speaker suspended the debate to 2pm.
