The ‘Investigator’ Journalists out on bail.

Investigative journalists Robert Ndawula Stanley and Robert Ndawula have this afternoon been granted a shs. 7m non cash bail.
The duo who were detained last week, appeared before city hall court in Kampala and were charged with counts related to criminal defamation and disturbing the Inspector General of Police Gen. Kale Kayihura’s peace.
According the charge sheet directed to the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) Mike Chibita, the journalists are also accused with intensions to defame the IGP following to the articles published on the Investigator online news publication.
They are expected to appear in court on 22nd/ November/ 2017.
