Leader of opposition Hon. Winnie Kiiza has this morning thrown the county in another huge shock when she returned the shs. 29m age limit consultation money.
The money given to law makers last month is aimed to facilitate the controversial move to grant the Head of state H.E. Museveni a life presidency occupancy.
“I have this morning returned the twenty nine million shillings that was dispatched to all Legislators for consultations on the Age Limit Amendment Bill 2017 not because I don’t need it, but its evil money aimed at compromising the House.” Winnie said.
Speaking to journalists at parliament, the Kasese District Member of parliament said that there was no need to splash tax payers money on a venture meant to benefit an individual.
Kiiza added that this money can do much more to benefit Ugandans if well planned and dispatched on purpose thereby calling upon Ugandans to reject the controversial Magezi bill.
“As Ugandans have stood bold to be counted, we continue to say No to Age Limit Amendment Bill 2017. Together we shall be heard.” Winnie stated.
