DEFIANT: Detained Besigye aide granted bail after 3 days hunger strike

Ronald Muhinda, the chief aide of Dr Kizza Besigye who has been in police custody at Jinja Road police station, has officially been granted bail.
His release came after he had rolled three days down without eating food something that forced police officers to speed up his bail application.
Muhinda a journalist turned activist and his co accused Brian Atuheire Batenda and Darious resolved to go on a hunger strike starting from Monday morning over unlawful detention.
The defiant boys had spent 9 days since when they were arrested in Rukungiri taken to Central Police Station (CPS), later to Kireeka police station and now Jinja Road Police station but were not delivered to court.
They were arrested when Dr. Besigye was in court in Rukungiri and till today they have never been brought to court.
