Top Ugandan Celebrities Of 2015 Named

Flavia Tumusiime

Flavia is a beautiful, intelligent and hardworking woman. She made news this year when she became a weekday news anchor at NTV. She is also a radio presenter at Capital FM. She is an inspiration to many Ugandans today, especially the youth.

Eddy Kenzo

Edrisa Musuuza real names is one of the best Exports Uganda is having at the moment.

Ever since he won the BET award, Eddy has been performing in different countries plus doing collaborations with international artists.

Kenzo was announced the brand ambassador of Airtel Uganda. He has had the biggest international airplay than any other Ugandan artist.

After the sitya loss hit many predicted that Kenzo was going to fail to do any other good song but he proved them wrong with his Zigido, Mbilo mbilo among other songs.

Lastly Kenzo has won several awards both in Uganda and outside Like Artist of the year in Nigeria Entertainment awards, Most stylish celebrity in Abryanz style and fashion awards etc.

Juliana Kanyomozi

Juliana proved to be strong and the most talented Ugandan female singer with her hit songs like Kalibatanya and Twalina Omukwano.

Juliana also mashed up with Nigeria’s Mr Flavor in Coke Studio Africa and all her four mash ups made it to the coke studio album.

She also had a maga super fans dinner organised by her super fans in the last month of 2015.

Lastly Juliana was nominated in several awards like Hipipo, Afrimma and others.

Ahumuza Brian

He is one of Uganda’s top most stylists and the proprietor of Abryanz collection. Brian organised a very successful Style and Fashion awards event with the biggest red Carpet Uganda has ever had plus bringing here big stars in Africa like Banky W from Nigeria.

Anne Kansiime

Zari the boss lady

Like every year Zari never fail to make news. For starters Zari gave birth to the beautiful Tiffany for Tanzania’s Diamond Platinumz. She also organized her successful white party at Club Guvnor and proved to be the last socialite standing.

Bebe Cool

Through his music, Bebe Cool is always raising the Ugandan flag high. The Gagamel Boss released his Go Mama album which sold all over Africa, got a MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMA) nomination, and had his songs like Love You Everyday, Byebyo, African Gal featuring on music charts in the whole continent, not to mention the multiple music awards he brought home.

Jose Chameleone

It was just another big year for the music doctor. The legendary MTV Evolution Award nomination probably his biggest moment. 2015 saw the Leone Island boss out great songs like Nkoleki, Bwerere.

Bobi Wine

Bobi Wine has always been an inspirational figure to many Ugandans. He is known for edutainment, where he passes on educative messages through his music. The Ghetto president takes it upon himself to speak for those whose voices may not be heard. He released a number of hits; Paradiso, Nakumiss and Kiggwa Leero had a big share of the music airplay.

Radio and Weasel

These two also make it to this list. The duo held two successful music shows in one year. They. had everyone dancing to their tunes, Juicy Juicy, Bikoola and more. Radio’s single Nkwagala and Weasel’s Wiggle Wiggle were also big songs.

Irene Ntale and Sheebah Karungi

Without doubt, these two were the best females musicians of the year, 2015 just like they were in 2014. They had a number of hit songs to their names, and to that they added a mega collabo ‘Otubatisa’. Sheebah and Irene Ntale are on a steady path to legendary status.

Patrick Salvado Idringi

2015 was a great year for Patrick Salvado. The man from Ombokolo successfully held the first ever one man comedy show in Uganda. He also represented the country at continental comedy shows in Nigeria and South Africa.

Rema Namakula

Rehma Namakula had the best of 2015. The singer had good music and received big air play both on radio and TV. All her songs this year  were welcomed by fans and more so Rema won the MTN Caller Tunez awards twice with her Muchuzi song and Linda featuring Chris Evans.Rema is also in a relationship with fellow singer Eddy Kenzo with one baby girl Aamal Musuuza. She is also nominated in Hipipo music awards with four nominations.

Fyona Kirabo

This Make up artist,stylist and co-host of Muvubuka weyogerere on Bukedde Tv1 rocked 2015 like no other TV personality.

Fyona won the best female entertainment presenter award in the Uganda entertainment awards over the likes of Mary Luswata,Anitah Fabiola and Robin Kisti.

She also had a mega get together party at kati kati with her fans and she also got two nominations in Abryanz Style and Fashion awards  plus a nomination in Radio and TV Awards. Fyona had the best and most active fans team (Team Fyona Kirabo) on social media this just concluded 2015. Lastly she was named the best decent TV personality of the year by decent Africa.

Nutty Neithan

Supanova entertainment’s Nutty Neithan was a phenomenal music act in 2015. Bakuwe Kyonywa, Body to Body are some of his fresh hits that had everyone dancing.

Ziza Bafana

The Guluma N’asomye star had his best year yet. His friendly match song featuring Zanie Brown was one of the biggest last year. He also had a successful concert at Freedom City.
