Jose Chameleone Blasts Coke Studio Africa, Here’s Their Response.

Yesterday (24th November), Dr. Jose Chameleone through his Facebook account aired out his disappointment in Coke Studio Africa management for promoting only a few selected artists basing on their preference. He posted;

“Coke Studio Africa, My Humble request is Fulfill the intent of Bringing Africa together Musically through our different sounds from different cultures. I am totally disappointed that you make me and Eva lordiah in this year’s season to participate and unfortunately light up Artistes that are in your own interests.”

Today (25th November) Coke Studio Management, through their Instagram replied to the singer’s allegations and stated that they do not favour anyone and it’s up to the fans to vote their favourite mashups.

“We value your contribution to the Coke Studio Africa show and note your concerns regarding promoting your content on social media. Through the show, we are committed to bringing together musical talent from Africa and beyond, and sharing the music created with our consumers all over Africa. As such we are committed to consistently promote the spread and sharing of this content on media platforms across Africa. We endeavor to fairly rally consumers to vote for their favorite songs for all the artists in each episode and have no intention to favor one artist or the other. We are open to engaging with you further to understand the concerns raised.”
