Fast rising Ugandan rapper Keko was on Tuesday kicked out of a Nairobi hotel and forced to spend the night in a petrol station in Westlands. She was in Kenya to represent Uganda in Coke Studio Africa Season 3.
Sources claim that the artiste, real name Jocelyne Tracey Keko, who arrived in the country on Monday, trashed her hotel room at Southern Sun Mayfair and the hotel could not take it anymore and ejected her.
A source at the hotel said the rapper did not have anyone to call, and later, a person resembling her was spotted late at night at the Mobil petrol station parking lot.
“She was insulting everyone, she was trashing her room and was just a general nuisance and that is why she was kicked out,” says the source from the hotel.
After the incident, the rapper was taken to hospital where she was sedated and taken back to Uganda.
She has been replaced by Navio in the Coke Studio Africa.
