The greed for money has turned some ‘men of God’ into liars. Pastor Yiga Augustine of Kawaala has been faking miracles to attract a bigger congregation and earn more money.
Pr. Yiga hired a one David Ziraba, under the names David Kikomeko to act as a blind man during one of his prayer sessions. Since Ziraba is naturally crippled, the pastor asked him which miracle he would prefer first and he chose to see. The pastor went ahead and ‘prayed’ for him and he instantly started seeing. This was aired on Bukedde TV. (Watch Video Clip Below)
David Ziraba had never been blind and he admitted that he acted just because the pastor paid him Shs 50,000 which he needed to cater for his wife and kids.
Ziraba has always had perfect eyesight and he had earlier won the wheelchair marathon organised by MTN Uganda. Here’s more proof, a photo of him playing basketball long with clear vision before Yiga ‘prayed’ for him.
