The latest news we have is that Dr. Jose Chameleone has just been nominated in the MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMA) for ‘The Evolution Award’.
The MTV MAMA “Evolution” award honours established artistes who have made an indelible mark on African and global music culture, taken African music to new territories around the world, pushed the boundaries of creativity, and shaped the soundscape of contemporary Africa.
Chameleone is nominated alongside Nigerians 2Face (Nigeria), Anselmo Ralph (Angola), Asa (Nigeria), Black Coffee (South Africa), D’Banj (Nigeria), Fally Ipupa (DRC), HHP (South Africa), P-Square (Nigeria) and Samini (Ghana).
The Wale Wale singer joins Bebe Cool who is nominated for ‘Video of the Year’ in the same awards.
