Davido, Don Jazzy, Tiwa Savage will be receiving millions of Naira from their endorsements deals with leading ICT Company, MTN.
The music stars along with a host of others have been signed on as brand ambassadors for the communications giants and the company has promised to spend millions on them.
According to the GM, Consumer Marketing, Richard Iweanoge, the music stars will be feted with millions in line with the company’s commitment to enhancing the lives of Nigerian musicians by providing platforms through which they can get lucrative value for their intellectual properties.
Iweanoge, made the announcement on Thursday, June 17 while also unveiling Cobhams Asuquo, as the latest addition to the company’s brand ambassadors.
The talented producer will also be joining the likes of Dr. Sid, Sound Sultan, Iyanya, Chidinma, Banky W, KCee as well as Saka, Osuofia, Mama Gee and others who all renewed their contracts.
The ambassadorship will continually evolve to accommodate new talents and cater for diverse segments.
“With billions invested so far in Nigeria’s music industry, we remain one of the biggest supporters of the music industry,” Iweanoge added.
“We have a track record of consistently providing the stage for some of Nigeria’s biggest artistes to shine and express themselves. “
Iweanoge also confirmed that the likes of Timaya, Wizkid and Sean Tizzle were however not retained as brand ambassadors.
