Bobi Wine’s Father’s Day Tribute To His Late Dad

Earlier this year, Mr. J.W Ssentamu, who is the father to musicians Bobi Wine, Mikie Wine and Eddie Yawe untimely succumbed to diabetes.

Today is father’s day and Bobi Wine has once again paid tribute to ‘the greatest father who ever lived’, a no-nonsense, strict yet funny man, who ensured that all his 25 children go to school. Here’s Bobi Wine’s father’s day message.

“There are father’s and great fathers… But there once lived a man called JW Ssentamu. The toughest, strict no-nonsense father, yet the funniest and most loving. The farmer who raised and educated lawyers, doctors, Pastors, Musicians, Politicians etc…35 children and each of us is a leader where ever he or she is. I will always celebrate you Taata, am so proud that your blood flows in my veins. Happy father’s day Dad. May God grant you the most perfect rest.”
