In the beginning, Grace was a secretary in the office of the president who at the time was a fresh hero, revolutionary who had led the country to independence. Both were married. Robert Mugabe’s wife, Sally was suffering from terminal illness and later died of kidney failure in 1992. Four years later he married Grace in a ceremony attended by African leaders including Nelson Mandela. Savour the pictures!
