Celebrities join demonstration against social media tax

Celebrities have today taken to the streets to protest the newly imposed social media tax.

The demonstration that was organized by Bobi Wine was joined by prominent faces like singers Ykee Benda, A Pass, Dr. Hilderman, Nubian Li, among others.

The singers claim that the Shs.200 daily tax on social media greatly hinders their work because social media acts as a medium to promote their work with fans.

However, things went south when the police invaded the demonstrations; firing bullets in the air as well as teargas among protesters.
