Arua Municipality Member of Parliament Ibrahim Abiriga, known for his famous yellow suits and yellow Volkswagens Beetle has been shot dead.
The shooting whose details are still trickling in happened on the evening of June 8, 2018, near Energo Petro Station in Kawanda, Wakiso district.
It not clear who the shooter(s) were or their motive(s) but the NRM Stalwart and strong supporter of the infamous Age Limit Bill cum Act has not been enjoying cordial relations with the population – even in his own constituency.
