Share this post:

Infinix Mobility last week unveiled the Infinix Hot S3X to the Uganda market following its major announcement on 13th, August 2018 – being the successor of the Infinix Hot S3. The biggest highlight of the flagship smartphone, is that it’s the first in infinix mobiles to come with a display notch. What now happens to the notification, is that they will be represented with a three dotted horizontal lining (more of like a ‘read more’), that if you have more than one notification received.

Spotting a quick review, the Infinix S3X comes with a 6.2-Inch display and an aspect screen ratio of 19:9 – with all 4 rounded corners. Appears compact and can fair reach in a palm. Just like the Infinix Note 5, the flagship smartphone comes with a plastic build and a glossy finish. Infinix added a 2MP secondary sensor to the rear camera, thus packs a dual rear camera at 13MP + 2MP accompanied by a dual LED flash light. The front AI camera has been downgraded from 20MP to 16MP.

Unboxing
The flagship smartphone comes a small blue-ish box. From purchase, make sure the seal isn’t broken at all to avoid counterfeit.

On opening the box, the 6.2-Inch handset appears on top in a color variant you chose. While underneath the handset appears the accessories; a pair of 3.5mm standard white earphones, a white USB cable, a white charging brick, a plastic transparent smartphone back cover, a screen guard, manuals, and a warrant card

Power on the phone before plugging it into power for charging. Usually new bought handsets come with about 35%-40% battery life – which is good enough for starters. Power on the handset to set it up to your preference.
