Magufuli government has decided to go after Zari Hassan for failing to adhere to some rules laid down by Basata when she hosted the Zari All White Party in 2014.
Tanzania’s national arts council, Basata, claims that Diamond Platnumz wife breached the law by going ahead to advertise her event before getting permission for it.
Apart from slapping her with a fine of Kes 23,000, Basata banned Zari from hosting the all White Party in Tanzania till she adheres to the procedure for holding such an event.
Zari is yet to respond to these new developments especially with the fact that her parties are her cash cow.
It will be interesting to see how it will play out now that in the strict Magufuli regime.
