The ceremony was presided over by IGP Gen. Kale Kayihura who commended the Operation Wealth Creation coordinators for using musicians to deliver the message of wealth creation to the masses. He noted that through music the message will easily reach the common man and that this project will be instrumental in mitigating criminal activity as more youth will now have work to occupy them.

The Kadongo Kamu competition which was launched in October saw Kadongo Kamu singers put their brains to work aiming to compose a compelling song that would  inspire Ugandans to embrace agriculture.

Operation Wealth Creation is coordinated by Gen. Salim Saleh and aims at mobilizing the masses to engage in commercial agricultural activities to boost their household incomes for poverty eradication and sustainable wealth creation.
