Kenyan international Jackson Jesse Were led the way with a first minute goal to give the Zega an early lead.
On 63 minutes, John Chin’gandu doubled the advantage before second half substitute Lazarous Kambole wrapped up the scoring business in the final quarter of the game.
Zesco United is home to Ugandan forward Davis Kasirye, who did not make the final 18 for the game.
The other Ugandans Herman Wasswa Nteza and Joseph Benson Ochaya were part of the losing side.
