6 Reasons Why Bobi Wine went back to School

Musician Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine has enrolled for a Law degree at the International University of East Africa. The Ghetto President surprised many of his fans when he shared a photo showing how he turned up for his first day of Law School.
Below, we analyze possible reasons as to why the “Aidah” singer, who already obtained a Degree in Music Dance and Drama at Makerere University, decided to go back to school;

Inspiring the Youth

Bobi Wine inspires and is admired by many young people in Uganda. The singer leads a life setting an example for the youth. Signing up for Law School will surely encourage many of them to stay in school and pursue academic success to secure a better future.

Political Aspirations

As you may already know, Bobi Wine has political aspirations. Reports indicate that the singer is planning to run for the Kyadondo East Member of parliament seat. As a Lawyer, he will be in better position to become a great policy maker in the Parliament.

Serve the people

He is known as public figure who stands up to speak for his people when they are oppressed in various ways. With this new academic qualification, we believe he will be in a better position to serve his Ghetto people.

Career 

Bobi Wine may be considering to practice Law as a profession either part time as a complimentary to his music, or full time later when he retires from music. Whatever he has planned, time will tell.

Childhood dream

Besides music, Bobi has always had a hidden passion for the Law profession. Now that he is in a better position, he has decided to give it a shot. Whatever your dreams are, it’s never too late to achieve them. This is the script he seems to be following. 

Ambition

Having achieved it all in the music industry, Bobi Wine may be seeking to start out and replicate this success in another profession. Just like his wife Barbie said “The sky is not even the limit.” We’ll see how this goes.
