There have been ongoing rumours that rapper Atlas Da African is working on a music project with ‘Hotline Bling’ superstar Aubrey Graham Drake.
The “New Day” rapper confirmed to us that he is indeed working on a collabo with the U.S based rapper. He says the song will be out this year.
Drake recorded a verse on Nigerian Wizkid’s ‘Ojuelegba’ last year, a sign that he appreciates African talent.

- Real name Eddie Igumira.
- He was born in Uganda but grew up in Canada, the same place Drake comes from.
- At the age of ten he took an interest in writing lyrics and at twelve had the skills to open up for Will Smith, ICE-T and LL cool J.
- In 2004 he appeared on Much Music television after winning a nation wide freestyle competition to open up for rapper Fabolous.
- Atlas was almost signed by Jay-Z music label, Roc Nation. The rap legend also gave him props during Caribanna weekend in Toronto in his interview on Much Music.
