Top Ugandan musicians held a party with president Museveni on Friday at Speke Resort Munyonyo as they unveiled the “Tubonge Naawe” campaign song for the 2016 general elections. The event was also attended by comedians, actors, actresses and television personalities.
The musicians, who included Bebe Cool, Chameleone, Juliana Kanyomozi and others said that they organised the party to appreciate the president for his role in the growth music industry.
Bebe Cool posted: “We as the entertainment sector organised this dinner to thank HE the president of Uganda YOWERI KAGUTA MUSEVENI for the contribution he has done to our country and to reassure him our support come 2016 campaigns. You may not have seen that specific artist u support during the function but not everyone one could be able to make it but all were represented faithfully.”
